In the Portland, OR real estate market 20 years ago, 9 out of 10 houses, townhouses, and condos sold for under $400,000.
Today, only 2 out of 10 will do the same.
Predictably, the biggest change has been in the single-family home market, where the ratio of homes selling under the $400,000 mark has dropped from 93% to 11%.
